Sunday, August 4th will be Vicar Gretchen’s final Sunday with us. We will have Wee Worship at the regular time and then one bilingual service at 11am followed by a potluck. For those who are visiting this site for the first time, Vicar Gretchen spent an internship year here at Trinity as part of her preparation to be a pastor.  If you will not be here on August 4th, but would like to sign a card for Vicar Gretchen or contribute to a gift, please do so before the 4th.  If you are around, please come to help show our appreciation to Vicar Gretchen for all of the gifts she shared with us this year.

“Jesus welcomed the crowd and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.” Luke 9:11

In this new year, while we are still in winter, in this time of cold and long sicknesses, of growing light but still long darkness, we look to Jesus for healing and new life.  It is for this reason that our Lenten services this year will focus on the idea of healing around the cross.  Throughout Lent, we will have Wednesday night services each Wednesday at 7pm.  These services will include contemplative music, prayers for healing, and a story from the Gospel of Luke that tells of healing.  With these different stories each week, we will look at physical healing, as well as healing over death, healing of unjust systems, healing within families, and healing of lost hope.

Join us each Wednesday night, to pursue whatever healing you are in need of this year!
